Kala Darshini staged a dance drama on the accasion of the Birth Centenary Year of Mother Theresa on 5th March 2011 in the presence of a thousand audiences. Among the audience there were also the inmates of Nirmal Hruday Bhavan and other homes run by the sisters of Missionaries of Charity. The MC Sisters arranged an exhibition with almost 28 large flux boards depicting the life of Mother Theresa and bringing out some of her rare photographs. The play moved some people to shed tears. Some felt it was extremely touching. It was staged by the students of Kala Darshini and some professional artists. Dr. Samaram, Dr. M.C. Das, Hajarathaiah Gupta, Sylvester and Panduranga Rao, were some of the dignitaries present on the occasion.
